Join Beyond the Bars, the Mississippi Workers' Center for Human Rights, and the National Domestic Workers Alliance for a workshop on how Southern labor and racial regimes intersect to produce and exploit “dark work,” and how workers are organizing at that intersection to demand dignity, safety, and power. The Southern Worker Action Summit is a summit for Southern workers from sectors and states across the region, and is co-convened by the Southern Workers Assembly in collaboration with 16 unions and worker organizations.
